Rotary Club of Greenville Evening

Rotary President Message

The Evening Rotary Club of Greenville, NC  has 61 diverse members who follow the motto “Service Above Self”. We meet Mondays from 6:30-7:30 PM at the Rotary Building, 809 Johnston St., Greenville NC. Guests are welcome. If you are interested in learning more, contact Lars Larsen [email protected].

We are an active organization. Some of our activities include: Fund Raising Golf Tournament, contributing funds to ”Polio Plus”, co-sponsor the Tar River Science Festival, providing bag lunches for residents of the homeless shelter, staffing the Salvation Army Bell Ringing to support the Salvation Army, $6000 to fund scholarships for 3 high school seniors, and funding one year of meals for a recipient of Meals on Wheels.

Why join Rotary? Rotarians realize the fulfillment of serving people. They enjoy sharing meals with friends who may have different interests and vocations. They know that they are a part of an international organization which promotes peace and has played a major role in the near total eradication of polio. We would love for you to visit and learn more.

WE CONNECT PEOPLE

Rotary unites more than a million people

Through Rotary clubs, people from all continents and cultures come together to exchange ideas, and form friendships and professional connections while making a difference in their backyards and around the world.

WE TRANSFORM COMMUNITIES

We take action locally and globally

Each day, our members pour their passion, integrity, and intelligence into completing projects that have a lasting impact. We persevere until we deliver real, lasting solutions.

WE SOLVE PROBLEMS

No challenge is too big for us

For more than 110 years, we’ve bridged cultures and connected continents to champion peace, fight illiteracy and poverty, promote clean water and sanitation, and fight disease.

Together, we see a world

where people unite and take action

to create lasting

change across the globe,

in our communities, and in ourselves.
